High Risk Patrol Procedures/Vehicle Operations

This course is open to all Patrol personnel in both sheriff’s offices and Police Departments.

Attendees can expect a classroom discussion training, where problem solving, and decision making will be discussed. Responding to calls, balancing of use of force authorizatin with case laws surrounding pursuits and lethal force justifications will be presented. Federal legal updates for 2024 will be given, and your policy guidelines will be compared.

This course has been approved for 4-hours of POST training credit.

Chad served 23 years in Idaho law enforcement. As a commander, he achieved Advanced Patrol and Level III Detention certificates. At ICRMP, Chad trains law enforcement personnel with the highest level POST-certified training available to law enforcement and offers 30 state-wide certified classes. He also assists agencies in developing their own certified training departments.
